A long, long time ago
I rocked my children to and fro
They sat and giggled while on my back
And in my saddle would take a nap
They loved to play from day to night
And when I rocked they�d hold on tight
Before the candles dimmed to dark
I�d look out this window and see the park
They�ve gone away many years ago
And in this house I stand alone
Out the window I hear children play
And remember the love of yesterday
